McCain By Way of Disclaimer

WASHINGTON (AFP) — Republican White House contender John McCain is reaching back through history to portray Barack Obama as an old-fashioned tax-and-spend liberal who would destroy jobs and growth.
But what doesn’t help McCain that his opponent is someone who seems to understand perfectly the current mood and realities of our country.
If McCain is going to have any chance of even staying close to Obama, I think he'll need to stop making cultural or historical references that anyone under 50 can't understand.
Even though I believe people of any age have the ability to learn "new tricks" and adapt to political & social changes. But over just the past week we've seen several examples of how McCain still seems to be partying like its 1979.
One would think a learning Curve is needed. How hard would it be for one of McCain's well-paid staffers to sit him down and explain to him what YouTube is?
This is particularly baffling to me when you consider that YouTube has been around for several years now and numerous politicians have been caught in high-profile lies caught on online video or audio.
It has been a longtime tactic of politicians to say something and then later deny saying it.
In the pre-YouTube era they were able to get away with it, but now anything they say can be up online instantly, accessible to anyone in the world.
Alter pointed out that McCain hasn't yet caught up to this new reality. An example of being out of touch.
I know the difference between misspeaking and confusion...the man was confused.
Responding to charges that he represents a third Bush term, McCain tells Fox that Obama offers the nation a second term for President Carter.
If this in any way could be applied than one would have to ask the question if he thinks by following a second term of what he sees as failed policies.
Than why would voters want a third term of failed policies?

“You know one of his favorite phrases is that I would be a Bush third term. Well I think maybe his proposals could be a Carter second term,” McCain told Fox during an interview at campaign headquarters Monday afternoon
This comment reinforces my first point about understand perfectly the current mood and realities of our country.
Its bad enough he doesn't know the difference between Shia and Sunni's than promoting the idea about one who’s never served in uniform being out of touch with making foreign policy.
Ably to open new communication between other nations bring them to the table to talk rather than war.

We need a president who understands modern technology or at the very lest one who puts statement that he endorses it but By way of disclaimer, Without doubt, some of what you read here is probably at least somewhat true at lest till next weeks news
